What is a baby registry?
A baby registry is a “wish list” of items created by the parent(s)-to-be to let others know what the want/need for their new arrival(s). There are so many things needed when a baby comes into the family, and it’s hard to know exactly what parents need. Your baby registry lets you pick the items, styles and colors you like, and lets friends and families know exactly what you hope to have for your new bundle of joy.
What do people register for?
Everyone is different! You should think about what you are going to need for baby, and go from there. Some people don’t feel comfortable putting larger purchases (such as strollers, cribs or car seats) on their baby registry because of their cost, but these are often great things to register for in the event that a group of friends, family members or colleagues wish to pitch in for one large gift, versus a bunch of smaller gifts. How do I create an Along Comes a Baby baby registry?
Baby registries can be created online or in-store. Stop by our showroom during regular business hours and we’ll be glad to help you get started! Or, get started creating your registry online now.
How do I edit my Along Comes a Baby baby registry?
Once your registry has been started, whether you originally registered in-store or online, you can edit your registry online by logging in with your email address and password. Or, you can stop by our showroom and let one of our staff members know you’d like to edit your registry and we can help you.
How do people use my Along Comes a Baby baby registry?
Registries are available in-store or online. Your friends and family can stop by our showroom and request a printed copy of your registry any time, or they can search by last name online and print a copy for themself, or shop from it online.
If your friends and family are out-of-town, they can opt to have purchases shipped to the store for pickup. This can be done by shopping online or over the phone. We will call the recipient and let them know when there is a gift ready for pick-up.
How can I tell my friends and family about my Along Comes a Baby registry?
If you register in our store, we give you a goodie bag which includes small cards that say “Mommy-to-Be is Registered at Along Comes a Baby” and has our store hours and information. They are great to tuck inside shower invitations. If you need more, or you registered online and didn’t get any, you can stop by our showroom and we can provide extras.
Can I add Along Comes a Baby gift certificates to my baby registry?
Absolutely! If you are registering or editing your registry online, just search for “gift certificate” and select the denomination(s) and quantity to add. If you are in our showroom, just let a staff member know you’d like to add gift certificates to your registry and we gladly will take care of it for you.

How do I find an Along Comes a Baby baby registry?
Our registries are available in-store and online. You can search by last name online now, or stop by our showroom and we can provide you with a printed copy.
How do I purchase items from an Along Comes a Baby baby registry?
If you’re in our showroom, we will gladly help you find the items you’re interested in purchased. To shop online, start by searching for the registrant y last name. Once you’ve found their registry, you will see all of the items on one page, and can click the item name for more information, or simply enter the quantity for each item you wish to buy and click “Add to Cart”; then proceed through the online checkout by following the on-screen instructions.
I live out of town; how can I get my Along Comes a Baby baby registry purchase to the recipient?
We’ve made it easy for out-of-town guests to get gifts to their friends and family who are registered at Along Comes a Baby. If you are shopping online, you can select in store pickup as your shipping option and we will prepare the gifts on your behalf (gift wrapping is complimentary and is available for most small to medium items) and call the recipient to let them know a gift is waiting for them! You can also have online purchases shipped directly to the recipient (gift wrapping not available), or call and order over the phone for instore pickup.
